Mindoro Boobook, Ninox mindorensis, is an owl of Mindoro in the western Philippines, where it lives in tropical moist lowland forest and can also turn up along forest margins, in openings and on plantations. It was described by Ogilvie-Grant in 1896. Among the Philippine hawk-owls, it stands out for the fine bars on the head and underparts and for its darker overall plumage. It has no ear tufts, and males and females are alike. It is a member of the family Strigidae.
