Miombo Tit, Melaniparus griseiventris, is a bird of the family Paridae that breeds in Africa from Angola to western Tanzania, Malawi and Zimbabwe. It is associated with subtropical or tropical dry forests. Formerly placed in Parus, it was transferred to Melaniparus after a 2013 molecular study showed that the species in the revised genus formed a separate group. The scientific name was given by Reichenow in 1882.
