Moluccan Owlet-nightjar, Aegotheles crinifrons, is an owlet-nightjar of the family Aegothelidae that breeds in Halmahera and Bacan in the northern Moluccas. It is confined to this part of Australasia and is known from moist forest in both lowland and montane settings. Also called the long-whiskered owlet-nightjar, it was described by Bonaparte in 1850. Its range is limited to the northern Moluccas, where it occurs in subtropical or tropical forest habitats.
