These birds are often found in dense forests and wooded areas, where they forage for insects and fruits. The Moluccan Whistler is known for its agile and acrobatic flight, often darting through the foliage in search of food. While not currently assessed by the IUCN, habitat loss and deforestation in the region may pose threats to its population.
