Monotonous Lark, Mirafra passerina, is a lark in the family Alaudidae that breeds in Africa from western Angola through central Zambia and south to northern South Africa. Described by Gyldenstolpe in 1926, it is part of the order Passeriformes. It is also known as the monotonous bush lark and Southern white-tailed bush-lark, while the names white-tailed lark and white-tailed bush-lark apply to another species. Its breeding area also includes Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe.
