Monteiro's Storm Petrel, Hydrobates monteiroi, is a seabird of the Azores in the Atlantic Ocean and a member of the Northern Storm Petrels. It breeds in the hot season on is. da Praia and de Baixo, the main nesting sites off Graciosa in the north-central Azores. Outside the breeding period it is present in the Azores mainly from April to August, and its non-breeding range is unknown. It was once treated as part of the band-rumped storm petrel, but is now recognised as a separate species.
