Moreno's Ground Dove, Metriopelia morenoi, is a pigeon in the Columbidae family that breeds in north-west Argentina. It is confined to that part of South America and is found in temperate and puna grassland with cactus and scrub, with scattered trees at lower levels. It occurs from at least 1,800 to 3,200 m. The species nests in cavities in earthen banks and lays two eggs. It is a monotypic bird, and the adult has a blue eye set in bright orange bare skin edged by a thin black line.
