Mountain Tailorbird, Phyllergates cucullatus, is a passerine of the family Cettiidae found across the Oriental Region and Australasia, with a range that is also widespread on Sulawesi. It occurs in the Purvanchal Range, southern China and mountain areas of Southeast Asia. Its natural home is in moist lowland forest and moist montane forest in the subtropics and tropics. The species was described by Temminck in 1836.
