Moustached Babbler, Malacopteron magnirostre, is a passerine bird of the Pellorneidae family found in the Oriental Region, including the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and Borneo. It was described by Moore in 1854. Also called the brown-headed babbler or brown-headed tree-babbler, it is a ground babbler with a distinctive moustachial stripe in the nominate race. Its breeding range covers southern Myanmar and Thailand through Peninsular Malaysia and Sumatra, while the Bornean form is confined to Borneo.
