Moustached Hawk-Cuckoo, Hierococcyx vagans, is a cuckoo of the Oriental Region, breeding in south-east Myanmar, Thailand, the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and Borneo. It lives in evergreen and secondary forests, including forest edges, and is also recorded from hills and alluvial and bamboo forest. The bird has a blackish moustache, white ear coverts and a grey crown and nape, with a brown back and a tail marked by brown bands and a pale tip. It was described by Salomon Müller in 1845.
