Moustached Turca, Pteroptochos megapodius, is a passerine of the tapaculo family in northern and central Chile. It was first described by Kittlitz in 1830. The bird is mainly ground-dwelling and is known for its large feet, which are reflected in its scientific name. It has a heavy bill and a cocked tail. Its breeding range is in South America, in northern and central Chile. It is also called Turco or Turca, and it is endemic to Chile.
