Munchique Wood Wren, Henicorhina negreti, is a wren of the Western Andes in Colombia, where it breeds on the Pacific slope. It was recognised as a species in 2003 and is closely tied to very wet, stunted cloud forest with abundant epiphytes and near-constant fog. Its known range is limited to a few localities, including the Munchique Massif in Cauca and scattered sites where Chocó, Antioquia and Risaralda meet, as well as a small area in south-eastern Chocó. It is a monotypic species and is named for Álvaro José Negret.
