Naretha Bluebonnet, Northiella narethae, is a parrot of south-western Western Australia and south-western South Australia in arid country on the Nullarbor borderlands. It was first described in 1921. The species is tied to a very restricted area and is associated with Myall woodlands, where acacia dominates. It breeds in hollows in she-oak trees, often using small entrances, and the eggs are matte white. It has been recorded around water troughs for stock, where it is easier to see.
