Nauru Reed Warbler

Acrocephalus rehsei (Finsch, 1883)

Nauru Reed Warbler, Acrocephalus rehsei, is a passerine of Nauru in the Pacific Ocean, where it breeds across the island. It is the only passerine recorded there and is one of just two native land birds known to breed on Nauru. Closely linked to other Micronesian reed warblers, it was once confused with the Caroline reed warbler, and the nightingale reed warbler was also treated as the same bird in the past. The species was described by Finsch in 1883.
