Necklaced Barbet, Psilopogon auricularis, is an Asian barbet found in south-east Laos and southern Vietnam. It belongs to the family Megalaimidae and was described by Robinson and Kloss in 1919. Its breeding range lies in the Oriental Region. It is associated with subtropical forests, lowland tropical moist forest and montane forest, and it occurs at elevations up to 2,700 m. The name was first proposed for a bird collected on the Langbian Plateau in southern Vietnam.
