Niceforo's Wren, Thryophilus nicefori, is a wren of the family Troglodytidae that breeds in north-central Colombia in South America. It was first described in 1946 by Meyer de Schauensee. The bird is confined to the Chicamocha River valley and the Sogamoso, Suaréz and Fonce basins, with records also from Soatá and the Serranía de los Yariguíes. It lives in dry forest and dry shrubland at 1,132 to 1,840 m, where dense undergrowth and leaf litter are present. Its known range is fragmented and its habitat is being lost.
