Nilgiri Flycatcher, Eumyias albicaudatus, is a passerine of the Western Ghats and Nilgiris in south India, where it breeds in the Oriental Region. It belongs to the Old World flycatchers and was described by Jerdon in 1840. It is tied to the higher hill country, especially shola forest, and its range is very limited. Two small white marks sit at the base of the tail, a useful feature for identification. It is also known from the Nilgiri, Palni, Anaimalai, Brahmagiri, Bababudan and Biligiriranga Hills, mostly above 1200 m.
