Noisy Scrubbird, Atrichornis clamosus, is a passerine of south-western Australia, confined to coastal heaths east of Albany. It belongs to the family Atrichornithidae and is one of the country’s rarest birds. Its back is dark brown, the wings are rust-coloured, and the breast is chestnut with speckling. The bill is grey-brown or pink, and the legs and feet are brown or silver. Males can be told from females by a black triangle on the throat. It lives in very dense cover and leaf litter, where it feeds on small invertebrates.
