Northern Grey-headed Sparrow, Passer griseus, is a passerine in the family Passeridae, the Old World Sparrows and Snowfinches. It occurs in sub-Saharan Africa in wooded savanna, fields and villages, from southern Mauritania east to northern Eritrea, west and Ethiopia south to west-central Angola, far northern Namibia, northern Zimbabwe and Malawi, and also on Bioko in the north-eastern Gulf of Guinea Islands.
