Northern Marquesan Reed Warbler

Acrocephalus percernis (Wetmore, 1919)

Northern Marquesan Reed Warbler, Acrocephalus percernis, is a passerine in the Acrocephalidae family and breeds in the northern Marquesas Islands of north-east Polynesia in the Pacific Ocean. It was once treated as the same species as the southern Marquesan reed warbler, with both forms grouped under the name Marquesan reed warbler. The bird belongs to the reed warblers and their allies, and its recognised range is limited to the northern part of the Marquesas group.
