The Northern Scrub-Flycatcher is a small, insectivorous bird found in the scrub and woodland habitats of Central and South America. It is characterized by its olive-brown upperparts, pale underparts, and a distinct pale eye-ring. This species is known for its active foraging behavior, often perching on exposed branches to catch flying insects. It builds cup-shaped nests using plant fibers and spider webs, typically placed in low vegetation. The Northern Scrub-Flycatcher is not currently considered to be globally threatened, although local populations may face habitat loss and degradation.
