Ochraceous Piculet, Picumnus limae, is a woodpecker of north-eastern Brazil, where it is found in the Caatinga and Atlantic Forest regions. It ranges from Ceará south to Sergipe and extends inland into Piauí. It is a resident bird and uses a wide spread of habitats, from drier open woodland in the north to thicker, wetter forest farther south. It also lives in primary forest and in altered places such as city parks. Its plumage changes gradually across its range, with the palest birds in the north and the darkest in the south.
