Tunchiornis ochraceiceps (Sclater, PL, 1860)

Ochre-crowned Greenlet, Tunchiornis ochraceiceps, is a passerine of Middle America and north-western South America, breeding from southern Mexico through Central America to north-western Ecuador. It belongs to the Vireonidae, the group that includes vireos, greenlets and shrike-babblers. It is a resident of lowland humid evergreen forest, including mature wet forest in Costa Rica, and is found from sea level up to 1,300 m. The species is identified by its yellowish forehead and yellow-brown crown, with adults showing the same plumage in both sexes.
