Myiopagis olallai

Olalla's Elaenia (Myiopagis olallai) is a small passerine bird found in the Amazon rainforest of South America. It has a distinctive olive-green upperparts and a yellowish belly, with a pale eye ring and a short, straight bill. This species is known for its melodious song, often heard in the dense foliage of the forest. Olalla's Elaenia forages for insects and small fruits in the mid to upper levels of the forest canopy. It is a relatively inconspicuous bird, often seen singly or in pairs. The conservation status of Olalla's Elaenia is currently listed as Least Concern by the IUCN.
