Schiffornis olivacea
The Olivaceous Schiffornis is a small to medium-sized passerine bird found in the forests of Central and South America. It is known for its olive-brown plumage, with a slight yellowish tinge on the underparts. This species is often observed foraging for insects and small fruits in the mid to upper levels of the forest canopy. The song of the Olivaceous Schiffornis is a series of clear, whistled notes, often heard during the breeding season. Although not currently considered globally threatened, habitat loss and fragmentation are potential threats to its populations.
