Olive-backed Foliage-gleaner, Automolus infuscatus, is a bird of western and northern Amazonia in South America, where it lives in the Amazon Basin. It is a member of the Furnariidae family and is a year-round resident. Its most notable feature is its heavy bill, and it is a fairly large bird in its genus. It lives in tropical evergreen forest, especially terra firme, but also in várzea and secondary forest. The species is found from near sea level up to 700 m, and its breeding range is in western and northern Amazonia.
