Olive Bulbul, Iole viridescens, is a bulbul of the Oriental Region, breeding from southern Myanmar through south-western Thailand to the central and northern Malay Peninsula. It belongs to the family Pycnonotidae and was described by Blyth in 1867. Its range is tied to moist forest, including lowland and montane subtropical or tropical woodland. Three subspecies are recognised, with two in southern Myanmar and south-western Thailand and one on the Malay Peninsula.
