Olive-capped Flowerpecker Dicaeum nigrilore is a bird of montane Mindanao in the southern Philippines, where it lives in tropical moist sub-montane and montane forest above 900 masl. It is a member of the family Dicaeidae and was described by Hartert, EJO, 1904. The species is often encountered around fruiting and flowering trees, and it may feed singly, in pairs or in mixed flocks with other small birds and flowerpeckers. Its nesting has been recorded from May to September, with a nest made from moss and other dried plant material and held from small twigs by fibres.
