Olive-naped Weaver, Ploceus brachypterus, is a passerine bird in the family Ploceidae, the weavers and widowbirds. It occurs in Africa, breeding from Senegal and Gambia to western Cameroon, including Bioko Island. It belongs to the order Passeriformes and was described by Swainson in 1837.
