The Olive-striped Flycatcher (Mionectes olivaceus) is a small, insectivorous bird found in the tropical forests of South America. It is characterized by its olive-green upperparts, pale yellow underparts, and distinct pale eye-ring. This species is known for its distinctive call, a sharp 'che-bek' or 'che-burr'. Olive-striped Flycatchers are typically found in the mid to upper levels of the forest canopy, where they forage for insects by making short sallies from perches. They are often observed in pairs or small groups. This species is not currently considered to be at risk, and its population is believed to be stable.
