Orange-banded Flycatcher, Nephelomyias lintoni, is a bird of the eastern Andes in southern Ecuador and far northern Peru, where it occurs in humid montane and elfin forest, as well as in early regrowth after disturbance. It is a member of the Tyrannidae family. The species was first described in 1951. It is a small flycatcher with very similar males and females, and adults show a pale eye-ring, dark olive-brown upperparts, two wing bars, and yellow underparts. Juveniles lack the crown patch seen in adults.
