Orange-breasted Thornbird, Phacellodomus ferrugineigula, is a passerine bird of the Furnariidae family that breeds in south-east Brazil, north-east Argentina and northern Uruguay. It lives in thickets in freshwater marshes, along watercourses, in gallery forest, swampy woodland and dense secondary growth. The species is a medium-sized thornbird with the sexes alike. Adults show orange-rufous on the throat and breast, a bright rufous forehead and crown, and a distinctive nest made by weaving leaves and grass stems into a tight tube-topped structure hanging from a branch.
