Orange-browed Hemispingus, Kleinothraupis calophrys, is a tanager from Peru and Bolivia in South America. It lives on the eastern slopes of the Andes, where it is associated with moist montane forest and dwarf forest, including areas with Chusquea bamboo and secondary growth beside landslides. It occurs from Cochabamba and La Paz north to the Peruvian border, with a small extension into Puno. It was first described in 1876 by Sclater and Salvin. The bird is known for its orange brow and the dark stripes running across its head and through the eye.
