Leiothlypis celata
The Orange-crowned Warbler is a small, inconspicuous songbird with a plain appearance. It has an olive-green back, pale underparts, and a faint orange crown patch that is often difficult to see. This warbler is known for its subtle and unobtrusive behavior, often foraging quietly in the understory of forests and shrubby habitats. It primarily feeds on insects and spiders, and its song is a simple, high-pitched trill. During the breeding season, it can be found in a variety of habitats including open woodlands, thickets, and streamside areas. In winter, it migrates to southern United States, Mexico, and Central America.
