Orange-fronted Yellow Finch, Sicalis columbiana, is a South American passerine in the tanager family, breeding in northern, eastern and central parts of the continent. It occurs in a scattered pattern, with birds recorded in Colombia and Venezuela, along the Amazon River in Brazil, and in east-central Brazil. It lives in semi-open places, usually close to water and sometimes near people. The male is similar to the saffron finch, but is smaller and shows a stronger orange forehead with dusky lores. The female is mainly olive-grey, with whitish underparts and yellow on the wings and tail.
