Oriental Cuckooshrike, Coracina javensis, is a bird of the family Campephagidae found across the Oriental Region, from the Himalayas through south-east Asia to east China and Taiwan, as well as on Java and Bali. It lives in subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest. The species was once treated as limited to Java and Bali, when it was known as the Javan Cuckooshrike. Six subspecies are recognised, including forms from the Himalayas, Myanmar, south China, Hainan, Taiwan, Laos, Vietnam, the Andaman Islands and the Indonesian islands.
