Chloris sinica (Linnaeus, 1766)

Oriental Greenfinch, Chloris sinica, is a finch of the Palearctic and Oriental regions, breeding in woods, bushes and gardens across temperate to subtropical parts of eastern Asia. Its range includes Ussuriland, Kamchatka, the Kuril Islands and Sakhalin, Hokkaido to Tsushima, Qinghai and Gansu south to northern Yunnan, eastern China, the Korean Peninsula and coastal Vietnam. Some birds move away from the northern part of the range in the non-breeding season. It is a passerine in the family Fringillidae, with a strong bill and a short tail that is slightly forked.
