Orinoco Saltator, Saltator orenocensis, is a passerine in the tanager family found in Colombia and Venezuela. It occurs in the Orinoco River region, along the Caribbean coast, in border areas of north-eastern Colombia, and on the eastern shore of Lake Maracaibo. Its range also includes parts of Venezuela to the west and north of the Orinoco. It is associated with subtropical or tropical dry forest, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, and subtropical or tropical dry shrubland. It was described by Lafresnaye in 1846.
