Ornate Stipplethroat, Epinecrophylla ornata, is a passerine antbird that breeds in western and southern Amazonia in South America. It was first described by P. L. Sclater in 1853. The species belongs to the family Thamnophilidae and is part of the antbird group. Its breeding range covers Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. It is placed in Epinecrophylla rather than the older antwren grouping, and the name stipplethroat reflects a shared feature used to separate it from those birds.
