Oustalet's Sunbird (Cinnyris oustaleti) is a small passerine bird found in the forests and woodlands of Madagascar. The male has a striking metallic green and blue plumage with a bright red patch on the throat, while the female is olive-green with a yellow belly. These sunbirds are known for their acrobatic flight and their ability to feed on nectar from a variety of flowers. They also consume insects and spiders as part of their diet. Oustalet's Sunbirds are important pollinators in their habitat, contributing to the diversity of plant species. Despite their localized distribution, they are not currently considered to be at risk of extinction.
