Oustalet's Tyrannulet is a small, insectivorous bird found in the subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and heavily degraded former forest. It is typically 10-11 cm in length and has a distinctive olive-green upperparts and yellowish underparts. This species is known for its acrobatic foraging behavior, often seen hanging upside down from branches while searching for insects. Oustalet's Tyrannulet is generally a common species within its range, but its population is suspected to be in decline due to habitat loss.
