Grallaria centralis Hosner, Robbins, Isler, ML & Chesser, 2020
Oxapampa Antpitta, Grallaria centralis, is a bird of the Grallariidae family found in eastern Peru on the Andean slope from Huánuco south through Pasco to Junín, west of the Río Ene and north of the Río Mantaro. It was described in 2020 and is now treated as a separate species. Its range is tied to the Oxapampa area, and the name centralis refers to its position near the middle of Peru. It is a monotypic species, with the sexes sharing the same plumage.
