Palawan Bulbul, Alophoixus frater, is a bulbul of Palawan in the south-western Philippines. It is found in tropical moist lowland forest and tropical moist montane forest, including primary and secondary woodland, and has been recorded up to 1,150 metres above sea level. It was once treated as part of the Grey-cheeked Bulbul. The name grey-throated bulbul is also applied to another species, the western greenbul. It occurs in Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, and breeding birds have been collected from April to June.
