Pale-bellied Tyrant-Manakin, Neopelma pallescens, is a passerine of the manakin family found in eastern and central Brazil. It was first described by Lafresnaye in 1853. Its range is split, with the main population stretching through much of Brazil and a smaller one in the lower Amazon region. It also occurs in southern Guyana. The species lives in deciduous and gallery woodland, especially where vines are dense, and reaches 700 m. Both sexes share the same plumage, and adults show a bright yellow crown patch with dusky edges.
