Dicaeum erythrorhynchos (Latham, 1790)

Pale-billed Flowerpecker, Dicaeum erythrorhynchos, is a flowerpecker of the Oriental Region, breeding from the Himalayas to Sri Lanka and Myanmar. It is a tiny bird and one of the smallest found in much of southern India and Sri Lanka. Its most useful field mark is the pale, curved bill. The plumage is plain brownish to olive green, with a buff-olive underside and no head pattern. It is often seen in urban gardens with berry-bearing trees, and it also visits flowers and fruit. Its call is a rapid chipping note.
