Pale Blue Flycatcher

The Pale Blue Flycatcher (Cyornis unicolor) is a small passerine bird found in the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia. This bird is known for its distinctive pale blue plumage, with a darker blue crown and wings. It has a short and slightly curved bill, and its diet primarily consists of insects which it catches by hawking from perches in the undergrowth. The Pale Blue Flycatcher is often found in dense forests, especially near streams and in bamboo thickets. It is known for its melodious and varied song, often heard during the breeding season. This species is not considered to be globally threatened and is listed as Least Concern by the IUCN.
