Pale Crag Martin

The Pale Crag Martin (Ptyonoprogne obsoleta) is a small migratory bird found in rocky areas and cliffs across Europe, Asia, and Africa. It has a distinctive pale grey-brown plumage with a slightly paler throat and belly. This species is known for its agile flight and can often be seen catching insects in mid-air. The Pale Crag Martin nests in crevices and cavities in cliffs and buildings, using mud to construct its cup-shaped nest. It is a social species, often forming large flocks during migration. Despite facing some threats from habitat loss and disturbance, the Pale Crag Martin is currently classified as Least Concern by the IUCN.
