Pale-eyed Thrush, Turdus leucops, is a passerine of the family Turdidae that breeds from Venezuela and Colombia south to Bolivia. It was first named by Taczanowski in 1877. The species has a scattered Andean and tepui distribution, and it is tied to humid forest, especially cloudforest, as well as wet secondary forest, riparian woodland and shaded coffee plantations. It avoids settled places. Its range lies mainly between 850 and 2,600 m, depending on country. The bird is sexually dimorphic, with adult males and females differing strongly in plumage and eye colour.
