Pale-headed Jacamar, Brachygalba goeringi, is a bird of the Galbulidae family that breeds in north-east Colombia and north-west Venezuela. It lives along the margins of gallery forest and secondary forest in llanos grasslands, and has been recorded up to 1,100 m. It is a monotypic species and forms a superspecies with the dusky-backed, brown and white-throated jacamars. The male has ashy brown on the crown, nape and shoulders, with a pale supercilium and buffy-white throat, while the female is almost the same.
