Pale-headed Rosella, Platycercus adscitus, is a parrot of northeastern and eastern-central Australia. It is a member of the Psittaculidae and was described by Latham in 1790. Its range is in Australasia, and it is found in open woodland. The bird is recognised by its pale yellow head, mostly white cheeks, scalloped black and gold upperparts, and pale blue underparts. It nests in hollows in large trees. Two subspecies are recognised, though some authorities treat it as the same species as the eastern rosella.
